    Account migration not allowed


    Dear all,

    It has been a month now that I try to migrate my account from France to the UAE.

    I contacted the help center many times with no answers.

    I try to migrate my account because I want to buy games and my account has been created in France, and only French credit cards are accepted.

    I only have a UAE card, so cant do much.

    I was told to migrate account, but now, the message says that it is not possible and to check the reasons.

    I checked and the usual reason are not relevant for me.

    Can someone tell me how to do it, or eventually have a phone number or address where I can go in Dubai to get help and this problem solved?

    Cannot change my account region

    Hi all,

    First let me say that I read the readme for account migration and that as far as I know I do not enter any category for which region migration is not allowed.

    I live in Germany but my account is set in France, usually this is not a problem but now this is preventing me from downloading Fable III

    Can anyone please help me ?

    Accounts ?

    Silver gives access to live for free but no multiplayer. Pretty sure it will be all you need to migrate her account to the one

    No, its not a reason to ban cars at all. but let me put it this way:

    "a {Account migration} can be used for good yet some people do use it for other reasons that is not allowed by {a policy decision at microsoft} is that a reason to {not allow account migration}?"

    This is exactly the point I've been trying to make. It is obviously *somehow* possible to migrate accounts from one territory to another. Hackers do it. Why is there not the facility in place to allow a legitimate user, with legitimate reasons to migrate
    their account? (be it due to moving or due to their account being migrated for illicit means)

    Canceling or delaying migration process

    The link on the website migrates your account instantly when you confirm it. After 3 months it will allow you to migrate the account again to another country.

    be happy xbox even allows region migration its not something offered on gaming servers

    wow only allows PAID migrations and they are set so that you can only do them so often too

    ps4 nor wii allows for region migration or namechange



    you are better off creating a different account then migrating your account



    migration will cause you to no longer be able to download irish region loked content well you couldn't if you were physically there



    and you would lose access to german content if you migrated back



    as stated before Temporary visits should have different regional account to avoid issues
