    Account Migration Error...?


    Hello friends, I am trying to migrate my Xbox LIVE account from the country it's currently in (Spain) to the country I live in (Canada). For some reason it is not letting me do it because of the following reasons:

    You changed regions within the last three months.

    • Your account is currently suspended (for example, if the credit card on one of your memberships has expired).
    • You have an Xbox 360 Entertainment For All contract.
    • You are a minor (as defined by applicable law) in your current region and will not be a minor in the region that you want to change to.
    • You are currently not a minor (as defined by applicable law) in your current region and will become a minor in the region that you want to change to.
    The weird thing is, I haven't changed my region within the last 3 months, my account isn't suspended, I don't have an Xbox 360 Entertainment For All contract, I'm not a minor in Spain and I won't become a minor if I migrate my region to Canada.

    Obviously there is something glitched with my account. If you guys could find out what's wrong with my account, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Silver gives access to live for free but no multiplayer. Pretty sure it will be all you need to migrate her account to the one

    Will I be able to use all the LIVE features of my RETAIL games after migration?? Will I be able to access them with my activation code or I need to repurchase them and get a new code?

    You will have to contacts support as they would be the only ones who see if there is any issue preventing the migration

    Purchasing with Microsoft credit and migrating account

    It's not an error. When you migrate your account region, currency does not migrate with you. The currency is still on your account, but as US currency. You would have to migrate your account back to the US region in order to use the money.

    problems purchasing new games, even GWG, problems with migrating my account

    Changing your locale in the console settings is not the same as migrating your account region. So that could still be why you're getting an error. You'd want to contact support again to see if they can help you with the region migration if it's not working
    on the site and then see if you're still getting the same errors after your account is migrated.

    My apologies, the link you posted earlier had "migrate" in it. Must have been a formatting error. Either way, you are trying to purchase LIVE Gold for your account, correct? Have you tried purchasing LIVE Gold on the console?

    What region is your account currently and what region are you trying to migrate to? Have you tried clearing your browser's cookies and cache, restarting it and trying again? Have you tried multiple browsers?
