    Accounts ?

    Silver gives access to live for free but no multiplayer. Pretty sure it will be all you need to migrate her account to the one

    Merging Live Accounts

    This does not solve my problem as I am already aware of
    support.xbox.com/.../change-region     and was aware of work in this direction when I had to get "corp" support back in 2010 when I moved to the US. There was both Migration support mentioned and merge at a later date discussed.

    I am looking for a conversation on viability and potential result of a merge tool coming at some time in the future to resolve this.

    I doubt there ever will be.It helps prevent save file sharing,marketplace theft etc.

    Did you try the Merge feature on MineCraft?
    It's best to read further information about it: Merging Minecraft Accounts.

    Also, by reading further:
    What will happen to my Mojang account after I migrate to a Microsoft account?

    You won't need it anymore! After migrating you'll use your Microsoft account to log in to the Minecraft Launcher to play the game and log in to minecraft.net to manage your settings.

    So perhaps try the Microsoft account.

    Is your mojang account already migrated?
    If not, actually you can merge the data with your Microsoft account doing the migration process to that account

    If not, sadly is not possible
