Account Login Blocked

I have this issue once before with my sons Microsoft account and I am beyond aggravated because it took months to resolve last time. My son is 7 and has a laptop I've setup for him to play Minecraft on which I recently swapped out for a new laptop. Of course this involved re-installing Minecraft but when it came time to sign in, I have found myself back at the following screen.

This happened after 1 login attempt, not mutliple. Using the "Reset your password" gets me nowhere, not only that but if I look up how to resolve this issue, It states the following....

It literally asks you to login to resolve this issue... HOW?!?!? That is the issue?

Out the gate, I don't understand the reason for these shenanigans because I'm going to be really upset if I am about to go down another multiple month road to resolve this for him while he is stuck unable to simply play Minecraft. Its ridiculous.

So, what is the best route for me to actually speak with microsoft support regarding this... last time this was an issue it took near 3 months to resolve which is ridiculous when you consider its for my sons microsoft account randomly locking him out and I spend endless time trying to get it functional again.. this was never a problem before microsoft owning minecraft/mojang...

Also to note its now telling me to many today... please just help me resolve this or I'll never come back at this point.. this is so ridiculous simply for my son to play minecraft my goodness... Or please at least give me a phone number to call to figure this out I'm so tired of back and forth getting nowhere but seems there is no way to get any of your help on the phone directly...

My son is only 7 I am managing this all for him. So it pretty cut and dry, displayed that message first login attempt. Also, if I go to that link for pass reset you provided it quotes an email of his microsoft username "itsMiles" with @hotmail on the end of it. that has never existed. When I signed up for his microsoft account for his minecraft usage, I used his gmail account which I also manage. So unless the microsoft account generated a hotmail account on its own for some random reason the only email ever used with his microsoft account is his gmail. Same way I use my microsoft. No hotmail our outlook email or any of that.

Do you know if your son knows the email address?
Can be that he try entering the password before you do it without your knowledge

Usually that message doesn't appear only if you put the password wrong 1 time
