    Account Locked


    Hey so over the weekend while I was asleep my account was locked for suspicious activity which I assume may have been a hacker. I call Microsoft support and ask to unlock the account and do a password reset and at 2FA to the account but they tell me to
    fill out a form online (which I did) and all they have to tell me is I have to wait up to 30 days for an email response from the form. Is there anyone that can help me unlock my account? I've called support 2 times and both times I'm told they can't do anything
    for me.

    Please try the steps below:

    1. To unblock your windows live id follow these steps
    2. Go to accounts.live.com and sign in.
    3. Select continue when it says your account has been blocked.
    4. Go to the email address shown and check the email.
    5. Get the code from the email, and put the code where its appropriate.
    6. Your account is now unblocked.
    Let me know if that worked for you.

    then you will have to post in the suspension forum (last forum at the bottom of the support page) they can tell you why the account was suspended (make sure you give them the correct name so they can give you the info).
