• The phone number doesn't need to be associated with your account.
  
• The phone doesn't need to be a smartphone, or connected to the internet, it just needs to be able to receive text messages.

Ask them to open an Unauthorised Access Claim, but your account will be locked for investigation for upto 30 days.

you can get a refund but you will need to call support and open a case and you be locked out of account for 30 days.
