Account linking with Epic games

Hi,

i got a problem with the account linking to epic games account.

If i want to link my account which i created on the xbox with the epic games, it says that there is already a account linked with my xbox. Is there any option i can see which account is linked to my xbox or disconnec the current account?

Since Epic Games designs their website and account system, you will probably want to talk to Epic Games support about the problems with linking your Xbox account. Perhaps try their
forums?

Account Link Issues - EPIC / XBOX Live mixed up ?

Thanks for reaching out to us! When it comes to linking your Xbox Account (GamerTag) to your Fortnite account (Epic Games account), each GamerTag/profile can only link to one Fortnite account. If you are able to sign into Fortnite on your device with your
son's Xbox account and his Epic account and view his progress then that is normal. However, if you'd like to sign into your Xbox account on Fortnite, it would need to correspond with the Epic games account associated with your GamerTag.

If your own GamerTag (Xbox profile) is not linking up with your Epic Games account, then you would need to

contact Epic Games concerning your Fortnite account directly for assistance in getting those two accounts to link. Just be sure you know the different account log in emails for their site specific to each of you.

If you changed your gamertag lately it could take up to 24hrs to get everything back to normal.If problems still persist after this period you should contact support.Epic games account related issues ....i would contact them

I have to try, I disconnected the account only yesterday.

Have you tried removing the profile and then reloading it? You could also try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back
of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

The email is always the same, I only have the microsoft one for the xbox, and I contacted epic games support but for them I have to check my xbox account. I have only changed gamertag.

Hello Mauricio,

Sounds like when you first signed up with Epic, you used a different email. If you are having issues with the Epic account you will need to go to Epic games support. From the main page of

Epic games Fortnite select help at the top.
