Account Keeps Getting Logged Out of Live

This happens enough that I would think it's a known issue. I can't find anything on it. My son, whose account was part of my family account, plays just fine on the 360 on Live. However, when someone else on the same console logs off, it logs him out. Or
when he changes games it logs him.

Frustrated like you wouldn't believe. MS Chat was useless. "Hi, how are you today?" "I'd love to get this fixed asap." "I hope you're having a good day." Who cares? Cut the chit chat and resolve my issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Logging Out

I can't log out of Xbox.com at all. Even when I'm signed into Windows Live with another account, Xbox.com keeps this account logged in. HELP

 

Trouble! Xbox live or the game?

Every time I try to play mine craft it logs me out of my xbox live account, but when I play other games like halo it keeps me logged in. So is the the counsel, game, or xbox live?

 

To be clear, no one else gets disconnected. It doesn't matter if I'm wireless or wired or on another console - this one user gets disconnected while the others do not.

 

Looks like clearing the cache on the storage device and deleting the profile (only) resolved the issue. FYI for anyone else in the future who's having this issue.

 

Does he also get logged off when he's the only account signed in and using the console at the time?

If so, it's possible it might be a profile issue. Try using the following steps to move and then re-download his profile.

By the way, this is assuming the account is linked to its own Microsoft account, since you mentioned Live.

Move the profile to a USB flash drive



-
Clear your System Cache at least 3 times

- Turn off your Xbox Console and unplug it from the back. Once unplugged, press the power button.

- Plug the console back in and turn it on

Download the profile back to the Xbox 360

Try that and see if the issues continue.
