Account is signed in yet Games and Live Service telling me otherwise

This is something that is completely new to me. Ever since the new Xbox One Experience (if that's what it's called) I've been having this issue. Now I was a part of the Preview Program so the update wasn't new to me, though when the patch officially launched
that's when I've noticed this issue. So what happens is...

I boot the Xbox One and everything seems fine. It says I've signed in when I go across to the new bar that slides out on the left hand side yet when I try to launch a game it says that no profile is signed in. This isn't the only issue though. None of the
other tabs/slides show any information. Games, community/friends all stays blank with no information on any of them. I can go into the Games section and see what's available though if I try to purchase or download anything I have the same error as before,
no account is signed in please make sure you are signed in (something along those lines).

If I reboot my console it tends to be fine, but I shouldn't have to reboot my console especially considering it's telling me that I am in fact signed in as me!

Nothing else has changed in my household. No new internet provider, no new modem or router, haven't moved the Xbox from one place to another. Only the new Xbox patch.

The modem/router that we have is one from Bigpond. A Bigpong ADSL Technicolor HNG TG587 and my xbox is connected via WiFi. I'm never signed in anywhere else on any other product when this occurs.

Fingers crossed there is some help available to help remedy this situation or someone has a definite way to fix it permanently.

Xbox Live Rewards Program not signing up.

I signed up for the xbox rewards program and it told me to wait 36 hours. It has been about 2 days yet and still no e-mail telling me the account has been activated. When i try to sign into the rewards program it just keeps telling me to give 36 hours. Can
you please help me get signed up. Thank you

 

Xbox won't work

My Xbox is telling me. Sorry, this console can't play until your subscription payments are up to date and Microsoft account not available . It won't even let me play a game but I'm still signed into Xbox live

 

Have you tried the hard reset? Turn the console off by pressing the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds or until the console shuts down completely. Then wait a couple of minutes and power it back up. See if it works then.

Then if that doesn't work what I would try next is removing the profile then re-downloading it and see if that resolves the issue.

 

I have the exact same problem and was also part of the preview program. I can sign in but cannot see achievements, news feed, none of the store content loads, and the guide also does not load. Tried rebooting many times to no avail including unplugging
it for 5 minutes and plugging it back in.

 

I am having the exact same problem as well. I just purchased the console a couple of hours ago and since I set it up and renewed my gold subscription nothing works. I've tried doing the hard reset multiple times and even unplugged my modem/router. I basically
feel like I just bought a $400 black brick that I wanna throw out of the window.

 

I unplugged it for 10 minutes and plugged it back in, same issues.

I removed profile and after waiting nearly 24 hours I was finally able to add my profile back, same issues.

It signs me in, network connection says it's okay, nat says it's open, but i cannot see friends online or use anything such as edge browser, youtube.

Sometimes an update is pending, other times it says the update failed; i double checked and it says it is running the latest software.

The one time i was able to add my profile back apps like youtube and preview dashboard actually loaded, since then these will not open, rather they open up and then immediately close.

Unchecked auto update and re-checked it to see if that forces an update.

If this doesn't work i will back games up to external drive and reset to factory settings..

 

I am having the same problem. I have tried rebooting several times with no change. I am currently away so that makes things harder. I have also been told to delete the profile and reload it, but it is kind of hard if I do not have internet services. Any
suggestions?

 

In the end, unplugging ethernet and using wifi connection worked for me.

 

Sorry for the lack of communication on my behalf. More to the point I'm sorry to hear others are having the same issue but in a way I'm glad, mainly due to the fact that I haven't done anything to stuff it all up.

I'm already on wifi so switching to it won't make a difference and I never had this problem before all of these updates yet it seems even new owners are having this issue. So I'm not spending a whole day, and all of my download limit, to redownload my profile.

What I'm finding annoying is the lack of response from anyone actually associated with Microsoft or Xbox in regards to assistance. Good to see that customer support and service is high on their list of priorities. :/

Worst part is I'm having more issues with my Xbox. The disc drive is dying on me yet again. Either the disc doesn't get read or I insert it and it makes a rather horrid grinding noise. This is the second time I've had this issue since the Xbox has been released.
My first Xbox died within the first 7-9 months and the replacement they have sent is now starting to do the same thing. (Nothing we can do without voiding the warranty so this particular issue I will put to them as a warranty issue). Quality has really been
going down hill and it's really disappointing.
