Account is not allowed to play online

Ive had the same xbox account for years, with zero issues, ever.

Today, however, that changed.

I logged in this morning to play some minecraft, and tried to join a server. when i went to the server list, it said something to do with my account settings not allowing for online play.

i went to the website that it told me to go to, signed into my account, and the setting that it told me to change to allow, was already set to allow.

i went into the account settings on my console aswell, and the same setting was already set to allow.

What ended up getting it to work for a majority of the day, was switching it to the default "adult" account settings, instead of the custom settings.

But earlier today, i logged off for a few hours to get lunch, and run some errands, and whenever i got back on, this time to play modern warefare, the same issue occured.

and it gave me the same error, on every game ive tried. "This profile is not allowed to play xbox live"

Things ive tried:

• Switching back to custom account settings
• Switching from allow, to block, and then back to allow
• Restarting my console (multiple times)
• Restarting my router
• Signing out of my account on my console, and then back in
• Signing my account out of every device it was signed into.

Any help would be appreciated. i have yet to find someone with the same issue that wasnt solved by just switching the setting from block to allow.
