Account is linked to an email address that I can't access, makes it impossible to change.

My xbox account was originally linked to a comcast email account. I had to change that account nam,e when I moved (don;t ask me why comcast made me). Now I'm trying to change this information but when I went to https://account.live.com and
tried it asked me to enter ANOTHER email address (i tried my work one) and then proceeded to tell me that I can access my account info until I get a security code from the email address THAT I CAN'T ACCESS. This is an absolutely needless and maddening process.
I can easily verify that both the main account name (my primary email address) AND the phone number attached to the account are mine. But the account process INSISTS on sending codes to the one email address I can't get to. What the heck am I supposed to do?

HELP. Issues accessing main gamer tag

Hi I'm having issues accessing my main and gold membership gamer tag. When I try and sign onto my Xbox gamertag I am asked to fill in the password to my linked email address. The linked email address isn't one I recognise and have tried all the forgotten
my password/recover my email address options but still can't access. As I'm current unable to access anything on my gamertag until i get passed the password log in, how do i access my account/change email address without knowing the details of the current

Cannot Change Email Address Linked to XBOXLive Account

The email address linked to my XBOXLive account has been corrupted, or hacked, or stolen, either way I cannot access the email address anymore! I've tried resetting my password, nothing happaned. I tried resetting the password by using my secret question,
didn't work either. I can NO Longer access the email address, period.

I can still sign into XBOXLive with the email address but I don't like the fact that I no longer can access the email and it be linked to something like my XBOXLive account. I desperately want to change the email address in any case that something could possibly
happen to my XBOXLive account, however, it requires I type in a password to the current email address linked to the account and LA-DI-DA, I cant because the email address is no longer usable!

This is really starting to stress me out, I do not want to lose my XBOXLive account because I cannot simply change the email address linked to it. I've even gone as far as to making an email address specific for my XBOXLive account. Please tell me there is
a simpler way to changing the email address, because thats all I want to do, to my account so I won't have to worry about it getting hacked and such as well.

 

If you have no access to your account on live.com but can access it on your Xbox you may try these steps:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

 

Here is my recommendation. Sign into verifyme.microsoft.com if the original email was never verified it will ask you to click the link it sent to the said (comcast) email. Look on the screen and notice anything that resembles this (or use a different email
as your microsoft account. This will take 48 hours to take affect. If this does not work go to accounts.live.com and on the screen where it ask to send a code select I do not use these anymore this reset will take 30 full days but it works. GL Been there
done that this is how I resolved. ;-)
