    Hello,

    I am having serious troubles trying to play games with xbox games pass on my PC. I recently logged in and noticed almost all of the games i had installed were no longer installed. so i went searching for some games to install and play. I pick "Revenant: from the ashes" and I get blocked with a pop-up stating that ( I ) or this account has been restricted from playing games and content with certain ratings. I guess Microsoft apparently decided that i am some 10 year old with strict parents that enjoy shielding their kids from activities that are very real in our world today as well as halting the process of becoming a mature young person......... ANYWAY, Since I am the sole Microsoft/xbox account USER and HOLDER, I have no idea how this happened, but even more pressing is the fact that I have no fing clue how to change the settings so that i have no restrictions whatsoever and be able to play whatever games i fancy like the big 27 year old I actually am.

    Hi! My name is Pam. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

    Open Settings then System -> Apps -> Apps & features -> look for Microsoft Store and click it. ->The advanced options link will appear. Click it. -> On the next page, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store to default settings.

    After that, kindly open the Microsoft store app, sign out then sign back in using the email where you purchase the game pass.

    Please sign out and sign back in on your Xbox app as well.

    Unfortunately his account is going to stay a child account until he reaches the age of 17, therefore in order for him to play you will need to switch it to an adult account. It's based on game ratings and he will be restricted from from play certain games
    based on the ratings of the games. It's just a safety feature that is built in.

    Birthday on the account normally doesn't effect what games you can play. You're probably noticing you can't access EA games. That is because their servers are restricted to certain minimum ages because of stricter legal standards.The birthday on the account
    will in no way restrict you from playing "M" rated games.

    To view the birthday, that link provided brings you to the right page. If you look on the last line under Account Information, it should list it there.

    how do i find the parent account

    Are you certain you can't purchase anything or are you only unable to purchase mature or unrated content? Can you find a game rated E to purchase?

    If you created a child account, it has to have a parent. If it's not a child account, it might still have certain restriction on it. If you go to
    live.xbox.com/.../Settings, there is an option towards the bottom about restricting the purchase of mature WP7 games. Is this option set properly?
