    Account Hacked, Xbox cannot recover


    MY sons account was hacked. He has called Microsoft who keeps sending him a code which he cannot retrieve due to the hacker also getting into his email. My son changed his PW to his email and he still is not getting the code via cell or email.

    He called MS and was on the phone with them for two hours. Why aren't there specialists that help people like this?

    They even got into his bank account and purchased over 1000 of product.

    This ALL started with a text message stating, "pay me or I'll leak your info" followed by a photo of my sons driver license (front/back).

    He got it and I got it as well. ? Im told after that Xbox requires his license ? The why dont they realize this is not him that hacked the account.

    Loss of money is baffling and no one to help. Ive searched everywhere for him, there has to be an easier way.

    Sorry, sorry for my confusion, but as you put your question by the Community I can not transfer you.

    What you have to do is contact the customer service, and ask them to transfer you to the advanced department, and say need to make an "Account Takeover.

    Yes, I have attempted. It sends a recovery to the email that stole my account.

    We've had this microsoft account for more than 10 years.
