Account hacked results disappointing,

I’m vary disappointed with Xbox Enforcement team over the phone. Figured make a post as buddy’s told me I should didn’t even know I could post something here.

My Xbox account was hacked in February to gain my gamertag that was my initials “KR” had for years since I had my 360. Then I contact Xbox right away as was upset all I got was to send them information and so they can gather what they needed. Done so. A
week later I get a message saying all information was correct, and that and will be under investigation a few days later. I get a message saying my account is now safe said my case will be closed thanks for choosing Xbox support....

They didn’t even give me a chance to resolve the case or help me what I was fusturated about I know good my account is good but I lost my gamertag all did was change my name but still I took lots of screen shots kept all my previous emails and case numbers.
I’m still fighting this case as I don’t want this to happen to anyone else

people don't need to change email address when compromised, they need to change password and make sure they have proper security... that includes not using passwords on more than one service, if one service is compromised all those details are sold.

Someone in another country will pop up with it, even if it takes years to happen. My skype password took approximately 4 years from compromise to have someone log in and use it.

This app makes you click approve when logging into websites, and it's instant once you click "accept" the website will load in normal.

Any devices that don't work with the app like xbox 360 will have you go to website once to create a password (it will generate a password that isn't easy) and you use that on those devices to login with your normal user name.

 

This is what I got back. Only person in my house hold is my girlfriend she barley knows how to use my Xbox , and is located in bedroom. Literally someone would have to break in to use my Xbox

 

follow the instructions in the email contact support for further questions however you can't reopen the same case

 

That doesn’t help. Just common sense. Really this case should be still open

 

nope as you been told.you have to address it with whoever uses your console this includes visitors

If you game.share this is one of the reasons d whh you never allow.anyone you don't kmos.use your accojnt

 

Man just can’t be anyone has visited my house and no I haven’t game shared for that reason. And tried mentioning before the account is now from the us and I’m from Canada :/

 

Unfortunately all you can do is try getting in contact with support again.

You can always contact them again. I don't know for sure if they can or will do anything, but they would be the only ones who could.

 

How can you contact enforcement again? I thought after one review, thats all you get.

 

He would need to contact customer support, not enforcement.
