Discus and support Account hacked just for name in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; TO start this off my GamerTag use to be "Pollination" The original pollination no zeros no "i" as a "L".     Account hacked just for name


    TO start this off my GamerTag use to be "Pollination" The original pollination no zeros no "i" as a "L". So my account was hacked! And no i didnt give anyone my email address and no i dont go over to friends houses and use my account there so i was the only
    one with my account information. They logged into my account changed my gamertag and changed it to what it is now "" i looked for "Pollination" online and its a silver account no one uses it, so my question is can i call support and tell them to
    give me my name back? or am i ***? It just doesnt seem fair that someone took my OG name that i had for years i had that name since i started playing online 6-7 years ago.

    Account Hacked & Perminently Banned

    My account was hacked in 2011 & also banned, perminently, for account theft. The person who hacked my account changed the profile name, not the gamertag, to their own name, is this enough proof to provide to whoever it is that deals with this sort of stuff,
    to lift the ban?

    Please help as i don't see why i've got to suffer & lose out because someone else hacked into my account 6 years ago and got it banned.

    Yes you can call support and see if they can help you, although I'm not sure why you had to create a thread here to ask for permission 1st?

    NO, Your GT was NOT changed by an unauthorized user.

    If it's your old account, why did you have to look it up and determine it's an unused silver account????

    If you think your account was hacked check this support page: support.xbox.com/my-account/security/compromised-account-solution

    In case you doubt someone of hacking or harassing online just report that person from your console or block him. Naming other gtags in the forums is not allowed.

    If you haven't done so already, you would need to contact support and have them do an unauthorized access investigation. You would also need to talk to them about about a possible credit for a name change. 1-800-4my-xbox or

    Also, you should not post your personal information on a public forum.
