Account Hacked/Banned

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone can help with this issue but I'm posting on behalf of a friend. In the last few weeks his account has been compromised. Account login history shows logins ranging from his own (DK) to CH,US,SWE etc... In the meantime purchases
have been made on his account (Not by him) and he has received negative feedback to the point where the account has now been permenantly banned.

He has contacted support many times over the last few weeks (Who, he says, have been very unhelpful) and each time has either been told to wait for a suspension to end or that no help can be given. I've told him to look at the Enforcement case review page
and go via there but is there anything that can actually be done? When it's so visibly not him doing these actions, how can a case be upheld?

Also if he is the one to blame, could he be provided with actual evidence of this rather than the standard copy paste rejection email he has gotten in the past?

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

you don't you were supposed to file a compromised access case try Support and tier 3 and pet deal with it

However this doesn't removed the punishment

He is responcible for his account at all times

I'll get him to try and contact them then, though he says he has tried before. I understand being responsible for your own account but it seems a little unfair to lose so much through, what is technically, theft.

I suppose it is down to xbox's policies though. Hopefully they will at least be reasonable

 

Your friend would have to follow the instructions here
https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/my-account/security/compromised-account-solution if they think their account has been compromised or as ngocphi said,contact support & ask to open an unauthorised access case.

Unless they do this the enforcement team have no way to know who was using the account when the offences took place.
