Account Hacked and all that

Sonmy account was hacked, whole hunch of stuff happened, but that was a couple days aga. I had called Microsoft and they did all the stuff, I have all the info yada yada, how long will it take to get my account back? I havent got anything from them since
that day, so I was wondering if I could get an estimate - Veigatta

Did they have you create a new account so they could transfer all of your information over from the old account?

If so once they fill out the form and send the information to the correct team it could take that team up to 72 hours to transfer everything over you would want to keep an eye for an email on that new account that you created that is how they will inform
you that everything was transferred over.

We in the forums won't be able to give that kind of info as we do not have access to the system. You will need to contact Xbox Support for this info.

I would suggest you set up a 2-step verification on your account to prevent issues like this from happening in the future.

Compromised Account Solution is a great way to try to recover your account if you've been hacked. Sadly, we here on the forums lack the necessary tools to assist more directly in situations as such.

Since you've indicated that you have already spoken to Xbox Support and they've opened a case for recovery, it normally takes a minimum of 72 hours for them to investigate the incursion into your account to see if they can recover it on your behalf. If they
had you create a new (unused) Microsoft account, then you may be receiving emails or further information in the inbox associated with it, so you'll want to check that out.

Should you like to see if there are any updates, then I would recommend that you
contact Xbox Support by requesting a call back and referring to your case number so that they can see if anything has happened as of yet; otherwise, your best course of action
is to wait until you receive another email from support with an update.

It has and the guy is still on it and why Is it my accounts always gets hacked on the 6 month? All hard different passwords. Have you had an account hacked?
