Account Gamer tag Snagged and used to troll.

Aloha to Reader,

My name is YETI and I previously had a gamer tag but switched it for awhile. I was streaming on mixer and one stream I said that I wanted to switch it back to that name, but someone who heard took the gamertag and used it to stream snipe and
harassed my games while I streamed. I banned the account from my stream but what matters was the name I wanted to switch back too. He/she has been in active on that troll account so I was wondering if I could get it back. does anyone know if this is possible?

No, if you've voluntarily moved away from that gamertag and another user legitimately claimed it, then there are not any options you have to reclaim it, unless that user voluntarily gives it up. You can block them from the stream and block their account
on the Xbox Platform, and if you feel that they are
violating the code of conduct, and if they continue to harass you,
you can report them through the platform.
