Account failed to be unmuted.

So I had a one week mute ban on my account the ban was lifted 4 hours ago but my account was failed to be completely unmuted. I can join party chats and hear others and send messages once again but nobody can hear me. The mic icon flares up when I talk so
the mic is for sure working but nobody can hear me. I can switch accounts and everything works just fine. People can hear me - no issues. However on my original account that's not the case. Everything looks like it's working but my voice is not going through.
I called Xbox support they couldn't help me at all and told me to post on the forums because they have no contact with the enforcement team. I even asked to be forwarded to a higher up because I'm sure it's just a programming issue. And she wouldn't. Please
fix my account :/ I don't want to be muted anymore a week was tough enough

Friend can't be unmuted.

Hi Yocurtland,

If you are still seeing this happen let's try a cold boot of the console by unplugging it for a full 5 minutes. If you are still can not unmute your friend then you will want to try a

factory reset of the console. Please be sure to keep your games and apps installed when asked to do so if you need to take that step.

If you are still unable to unmute your friend then please let us know.

Friend can't be unmuted.

My friend can't be unmute. I've tried reseting my xbox and it won't let me hear her in the Xbox live party.

I'm currently having the same problem... can't unmute my wife's account....

Same here since this weekend. My friend cannot unmute me. Nat is open on both sides and he can unmute and hear me with another account on the same device. Very frustrating. Lost several hours of game play on a weekend because of this.

I just did it and I was unmuted for 2 seconds before it muted me. Now I still can´t unmute myself

I also have this issue and so does my son. He has a friend and his friend is unable to unmute him. He didn't place him on mute in the first place. He tries to unmute on his friends list but it just reverts back. I have his friend on my list and he is muted
under my account....through choice

. But I too can't unmute him now. Tried on my friends list, reverts back to muted. Tried by going under my profile, going to following, selecting muted, unmuting him there.....still the same.

Anybody got any ideas? Could Fortnite have anything to do with it? Tried going in to party, then going to in game chat, leaving it for 10 secs, going back to party and unmuting. Has worked for some....not for me. Please, help me. my son won't stop moaning
about it. Is it something that just resolves itself or is that it?
