Account doesn't exist, please help

Sorry to hear about this. Try heading back to hotmail / outlook and taking the recovery steps. As above. The email and Xbox account were deleted. It may take some time for this to be resolved for you.

Yep tried that and it still says "Account doesn't exist" this is so frustrating, I've know idea what he's done, all my correspondence goes through that email

Yes it was a @hotmail.co.uk email which my stepson had connected to his Xbox. I asked his Mum, to tell him to just remove my email from his Xbox. In doing so, it looks like he's totally deleted my Email address 😞 Now Microsoft are saying my email doesn't exist, it did, so surely it's gotta be in the ether somewhere. It can't just disappear. Was the email that was deleted a Microsoft email? I ask because per https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help...nt/change-email-sign-in-for-microsoft-account
