Account does not have permission to access GTAO

Discus and support Account does not have permission to access GTAO in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I started seeing this message yesterday.     Account does not have permission to access GTAO


    I started seeing this message yesterday. I emailed Rockstar, and they said I would have to contact Microsoft. I have checked my gold account, all good. I made sure I have no restrictions on content. I reset my console (twice). I un-installed and re-installed
    the game. This is the only game that is affected. Nothing has worked. Please help!!

    GTA Online FAQ/Information thread

    I have an XBOX Live account, and when ever I try to access GTA Online on my XBOX ONE, it says "Your account does not have permission to access Online". Do you know why this is happening?

    Hey Andre, I have something you can try - I have seen a similar message come up for other users and it could be a privacy setting problem that seems to effect how GTAO works.

    Try:

    X-Box Guide Button -> Settings Tab -> Profile -> Edit Profile -> Privacy Settings ->-> Voice and Text -> then select EVERYONE

    In addition to above I have poked around and found a few others with similar issues who resolved it by signing out and back in again

    Also x1 path to privacy is settings > privacy > access to content Account does not have permission to access GTAO :)

    I can only hear my friends in xbox games (pc)

    that your account does not have permission to access what you are trying to change.

    One of my most anticipated Xbox One features never works.

    Try accessing your account through the parent account in Settings to see if you can adjust your permissions. This does sound like a permission issue.
