    Okay. So. A while ago, when Microsoft kinda changed, I was unable to access Xbox Live on my main profile, DemonNachJack, because it needed a security check. So I tried it, typed in my email, but, the password never worked? The password had been changed to
    something else, and I tried both the old and new one. And it didn't work! So I was like, "Okay, I don't want to waste time on this." So I deleted it. Now, I realize that I want to play Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z online, so I tried recovering the deleted account.
    Same problem! The password isn't wrong! I tried both emails, dozens of passwords, nothing worked.

    Microsoft, why can't I just enter one of my emails in, get a security check, verify it, download my profile, and play? Why did the simple "enter your Gamertag to recover it" have to be changed to "enter your email, password, then go verify it. BTWyoumayhavetodolike50otherthingsGOODLUCK!"
    Please. I'm still paying for Gold on it. I refuse no for an answer, and I badly wish to rejoin the Xbox Live experience.

    Xbox 1 sign in

    I had the same problem, you need to delete the account of your xbox after that u can add the account back.
    Maybe that will also work for you.

    Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

    Basically, when you log in you should be using the email address that is attached to your gamertag.

    Entering the email address and verifying it using the email address registered on your gamertag is a security measure to prevent hackers from easily accessing your account.

    It is a lengthy process, deleting a gamertag. So, based on my experience with other customers (while I was working as a chat support agent), the issue is most likely caused by the EXACT email used and the password. I had other customers who contacted us
    because they didn't know that the email entered had a www.*** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. LOL!

    To make things easier for you, I would suggest you contact xbox chat support so they can personally check the correct email that is attached to your gamertag. They can do this by entering the exact gamertag in the system. But of course they need to validate
    the account first. ^_-

  5. Well. Xbox Chat support. As long as I don't have to talk over a phone. I don't like talking to strangers. @_@. Thanks for the reply, I'll try contacting them. After I find how to do so, of course! And hopefully this will work.

    now though if you set up your account for two step verification then it wont work do this:

    If you recently turned on two-step verification, you may not know how to sign in to apps or devices that don't accept security codes. Some apps (like the mail apps on some smartphones) and devices (like the Xbox 360) can't prompt you to enter a security
    proof when you try to sign in. If you get an incorrect-password error with an app or device, you'll need to create a unique app password to sign in. After you sign in with your app password, you're all set to use that app or device. You’ll use this new app
    password to sign in to your device instead of using your Microsoft account password.

    You'll need to create and sign in with an app password once for each app or device that can't prompt you for a security proof.

    Sign in to your Microsoft account.

    Under Password and security info, tap or click Edit security info.

    If you're prompted for a security proof, enter it and tap or click Submit.

    Under App passwords, tap or click Create a new app password.

    A new app password is generated and appears on your screen.

    When you’re prompted for your Microsoft account password on your Xbox console, enter the app password that you created online.

    That is if you remember the exact email address attached to your gamertag. Because when you do the ACSR, you will be entering the Microsoft account attached to your legit gamertag. Once you have successfully submitted the form you will receive a message
    that you have to wait 24 hours. You can immediately check your email INBOX, SPAM or JUNK folders. 24 hours is just a timeframe and you may be getting it earlier.

    There are 2 responses. One for resetting the password or telling you that you have not entered enough information. Take note of the 8-9 digit account issue number, provide that number to the chat agent so they can have it escalated to the advocacy team.
    Some chat people are a quick enough to have it escalated immediately. It would be nice if you will be assisted with a faster agent.. They will process the escalation for you in less than 5-10 minutes. You will also be asked for the console ID, which will
    serve as proof that you had a history of accessing your account on that specific console..
