    Account currency problem


    I live in South Africa and want to purchase items via Xbox store.

    My region an language is correct on console, also on Microsoft account.

    But Billing information stays in dollar $ US). I cannot get it to change to South African Rand.

    I cannot update my billing info because it asks for a US address.

    Please help

    I'm wasn't sure which forum to post this in since it has to do with both the 360 and the One. Anyway, when I was looking at downloading content on xbox.com it doesn't give me the option to use the money in your Microsoft account. It only gives me the option
    to use my credit card that I have on on profile. I was just wondering if it was an option to use your MS account or is the feature not available yet on the website?

    No. The gift cards can only be used for the region they are made for. If you do not actually live in Ireland, you would need to migrate your account region to the correct region so you can use your local currency. Otherwise you will have to purchase gift
    cards in pounds.

    If the full game is not showing on the console, then that means it is not available for purchase from your region. The marketplace on the console will have everything that is available in your region.

    There is no way to convert your local currency to USD.

    Hi,

    Your friend should have warned you that this would have occurred but unfortunately in the situation that you're now in you will only be able to purchase any sort content on a console that has the beta update. There's no way to undo what has been done :(.

    If you need to purchase something is it possible for you to go to your friends house and download your profile to do so? Once the purchase is made, you can then just download the content using your download history and everything should be fine and dandy.
