    Hello,

    Today in the time span of about 10 minutes, someone gained access to my email (from another country, somehow) and changed my microsoft account associated email & the phone number connected to my account. All this happened today, and is in stark contrast with my usage history.

    I cannot get my account back, as they have changed both my email and phone number associated with the account. When I try to reset it, it sends the reset link to an email that I have no access to. When I try to log in online to support a ticket, it tells me my account no longer exists, and there is no one I can call or speak to regarding this!

    I had to create a brand new account using the same email that they changed recently, and I have lost access to all my MS products such as Gamepass. How can I get help with this? Looking online, there is no way I can contact and speak to a human being to get some help.

    Would appreciate any advice.

    I do not know what email address the hackers have changed the new email to. Can I not provide the email address that the account has been registered to for the past 10 years, and they can track the history to see all the changes were made today?

    They logged into my account and changed the email to something they created. I have access to my regular email that the account was created on, and has been linked to for a decade.

    Are you saying I need to know the email that the hackers changed it to?

    Customer support can't get your account back, by design. There's a process for this.

    It is a pain if you account has been compromised because Microsoft has so much security in place but it doesn't help if the account has been shared out or if you're using a yahoo email address that's been compromised as the sign in for your account.
