Account chat/communications suspension lifted, still cannot chat/message anyone.

As the title says, my account was suspended for the first time ever from communications because someone on xbox live sent me a troll message in order to upset me after I lost a game, to which I responded with a swear word. The word was reported and my account
was suspended for 24 hours (abuse of the system if you ask me, baiting someone into a suspension). Now the 24 hours have gone and my account still cannot chat, my friends don't hear me and I can't hear them despite the suspension supposedly being lifted. I've
hard reset the xbox multiple times, I've toggled the privacy settings, I've even removed my account from the xbox and added it again but still nothing. I can send messages for some reason but my friends don't receive them. If I try to use the Smartglass app
to send a message I still get this privacy settings are blocked error message. When I went to enforcement.xbox.com it shows no way for me to set a review for my case by the enforcement team and the link on the site even says PAST enforcement now instead of
CURRENT as it did this morning so the suspension should be lifted but it is not. I contacted xbox support as well and the person on the line said they couldn't do anything as the enforcement team is a whole other team on some other distant planet apparently.
This all seems like a pretty STUPID way to handle paying customers accounts. Any assistance would be fantastic.

Ban Error

I didn't receive an email, and I cannot request a case review because the suspension has already been "lifted" even though I cannot access communication in party chat, messages, or game chat.

 

Xbox live party chat, no sound

I have just recently been banned from communications for 1 week. After my suspension has been lifted i have found that i cannot hear anyone in party chats and nobody seems to be receiving messages still. Is there some kind of network issue or anything else
I myself can do?
