Discus and support Account Change issue in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm currently on my Xbox, in attempt to change the e-mail address associated with this gamertag.     Account Change issue


    I'm currently on my Xbox, in attempt to change the e-mail address associated with this gamertag. However, it appears that I'm unable too, and it states for me to visit the AccountSwap site.

    I've had this same account for well over six years, I've also just created a new e-mail address to switch too. So the new e-mail address would not be compromised or attached to another Xbox Live account.

    I have not "recently downloaded" my account onto any Xbox system, I've had this same console for four-five years.

    I desperately hope someone could point me towards the right direction, I'd like to delete my current e-mail address.

    Account Change Question...

    I sold my brother my Gears Xbox One S along with my external HDD which had all my games on it. He'll have to use my account to play, right? I'm wondering if he could change my account's gamertag and email and make it his own and when I get another Xbox, can I reclaim my Mosh1mo name if he changed the gamertag from that name? Sorry for the confusing questions. Just wondering what my options are. I'll probably have to start all over, huh?

    It becomes available. Again though, you can just set the console as your home console. Then he can access the games from his own account and you'll still have the games for when you get a new console.

    Hi there,

    is there any currency left on your account?

    Since if so, that could cause problems, it's best to use it all before trying to move.

    Eventhough it is mentioned it will be removed, it sometimes still prevents the move.

    On my account it says that I have $1.00 on the account.

    I'd like to get rid of it, however there is no option. Would I have to purchase something in order to rid it from my account?

    Hi there, have you waited 30 days since downloading the profile to the Xbox 360 console? If you made any changes and didn't re-download the profile, I don't think the 30 days cones in affect.

    Note You also must wait 30 days after your gamertag is downloaded from Xbox Live before you can switch that gamertag to a different Microsoft account.

    Changing your gamertag will not cause an issue with your account in most cases. You have not received your deposit because we only automatically schedule deposits at 5000 or more pending Credits. Once you are at 1000 or more pending Credits, you can request
    a deposit for the next available scheduled deposit date from your MyRewards page.
