Account being hacked.

i tried downloading my profile back on my xbox 360 after having played at a friends house and when I did the profile being downloaded was not the same gamer tag as mine and mine will no longer show up. Microsoft support told me to post here for further
Help Thinking i might have been hacked. The gamer tag showing up now is which has never been an account of mine. My account is Pvt Privates

Microsoft doesn't ban an account for it being hacked. They aren't Sony.

 

Xbox Live Security Check

Security is kept on the xbox in case people lose their accounts or are being hacked. It is something good that is on xbox.

 

I don't know why they sent you here, first we need to know the email on your account, actually, you need to know the email on the account, and I know you're probably saying "But mister anonymous poster on xbox.com, of course I know my email.", to which I
will respond, obviously something happened to where you now have another gamertag there, you need to go to your friends house, look sign in to your account on his console, go to "settings" from the dashboard, then go to "account", then go to "your information"
and select "account security" on the top right hand side it will say "Current Microsoft account" and under that it will say the email that is attached to the gamertag you want, if your email is the same, check your download history to check if all your purchases
are there, you may need to do a Lic transfer to see the games on the download history, if it is there then you may need to change the email and password on your account from
https://account.live.com you will need to change the email on the "aliases" page and the password from "security and password" while you are there take the time to "add phone" and "add email" so you have
stronger security. Let me know how it goes.

Kenny779 (Pvt Privates) I know RafaelCBF0 said that we needed to know it but you should never post your personal info (like your email) on a public forum like this. Hopefully it will get redacted by a moderator soon. And I don't know what he is talking
about with the license transfer. Don't do that. Hopefully someone who knows what they are talking about will come along to help you soon. You may have accidentally created a second gamertag connected to the same email. If that were the case I believe that
you would need to get that sorted with support over the phone. Good luck!

 

I was already on support with the phone they told me that I needed to post on a forum to get help from an admin. And I talked to my friends and none of us have ever made a gamer tag named and it won't even show up with mine being linked to the account
at all now

 

I can't tell you why I know what I know cause I can get suspended from the forums, but I know what I am talking about.

 

I didn't come to the xbox forum to have two admins fighting on my thread.... I would just like help getting my account back if someone who knows what they are doing and can actually help me would please do so

 

I got it bro, you messed up on the email, you put yahoo.com instead of live.com, try to download the profile again and watch out for that suffix.

 

Neither one of us are admins. I am an Xbox Ambassador. I just volunteer my time to try and help people out when I can. You can see an ambassador laurel (wreath) with the number 6 currently in it to the bottom right of my gamercard. Rafael is not showing
any indication of being a part of anything other than a random user who seems to also be trying to help. Although his comment about not sharing what he know because it might get him into trouble is a bit shady sounding. Your Pvt Privates account has not disappeared
or been altered as far as I can tell.

This is why I believe you may have either created a duplicate account or you are signing in with the wrong details.

 

I have done the exact same thing a while ago and it seemed like my account has been hacked to. I eventally had to call back to customer service and get them to take one of the gamer tags off my email and change the email on my original gamertag for it to
show back up. I hope this helps you out.

 

There seems to be confusion here between some wording with different helpers, but OP, please don't post your email on forums in the future for your own safety.
