Why did my account get banned? I was not on during the time that I was supposedly banned at.

Guys, I've not bothered to search as I wouldn't even know quite where to start, so apologies if this is common knowledge already.

My question is............

I've already signed over my XBL account to the ONE, which works fine, but what I'm wondering is how do I get the kids and misses across from the 360 ?
I'm the only one with a live account and the 3 other profiles where made on the 360.
Whilst I was out MTB'ing today the "kids" wanted to play Zoo Tycoon, but since I have to ONE set up for face sign in they had a few problems, to the point where on my arrival home there were about 6 new accounts made in their attempts to sign in *Facepalm :facepalm:
It's been so long since the other accounts were made on the 360 I can't even remember what processes were required.
Do you need an email addy ?

We don't have the resources to tell you why you have been banned, nor do the support agents who also work within these forums. The only people that can tell you why you have been banned are the Xbox Live Policy and Enforcement team. You can reach out to
them, and submit a case review, through their website here:
http://enforcement.xbox.com/home

You will also get an email sent to you, detailing why you have been banned, or had enforcement action taken against you and your account. So be sure to check your email inbox and junk folders.

It does take time for the Enforcement team investigate complaints. Thus meaning it could have been something you have done a while back that has caught up to you now.

There are different kinds of bans an account ban and a console ban. The account ban which a communication ban is will follow your account it is not tied to the console so yes it would follow you to the One.

Hi! if it's a console ban, the account is not affected by the ban. If it's an account ban, you'll have to open a new account.

A console ban will not do anything to your account. Harassment is more likely to cause his account to be permanently banned rather than a console ban. But if there is a console ban it does not ban the accounts on the console.

no their accounts are not account banned.

As you say they arealso banned on the forums if their account is banned. For them to post on any forum including "my xbox account was suspended", they need to create a new account, and refer to the banned gamertag in their post.

so in this case, their gamertags are not banned, because they can use their gamertags here.

ok thanks, and also if that account ban results in a console ban, that account will be banned everywhere but the console ban will only be on that specific console not any others even if they have the banned account on it since the console bans result from violations made on that specific console, correct?
