Account balance not able to use as payment

Discus and support Account balance not able to use as payment in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; This is my kids account and he have Microsoft account balance of 15.03 USD, but i cannot use this for purchase, as account balance option not showing...     This is my kids account and he have Microsoft account balance of 15.03 USD, but i cannot use this for purchase, as account balance option not showing in the payment screen. What could be the issue?

    Ola, since this balance is in your child's account, is it as a child account if it is linked to an adult account and authorized to purchases?

    And which game you would be trying to buy, if it's One games you'll be able to buy with your account balance, but if they're 360 games the system doesn't allow it.

    Hi Georges, thanks for your reply. Yes this child account is linked to parent account(mine) and authorized for purchases. I am trying by Fortnite V Bucks for him, but in the payment screen it always asking for adding new payment method. Same stuff we already bought with the same balance earlier without any issue.

    add a payment option online    , are you able to complete the purchase using only your Microsoft account balance after that?

    Unfortunatly you will not be able to pay for an overdue payment with the balance on your account. You will need to have a valid credit card on PayPal linked to your account to be able to make the payment.
