    I have an account balance of $30 for my Microsoft account and I want to buy a realm for a few months but it won't let me get it without a debit or credit card. Is there anyway to have a "prepaid realm" of sorts so you can buy a certain amount of months instead of having to buy a subscription with a card?

    Hey Garret,

    I remember that they used to have Prepaid Minecraft Realms gift cards that you could purchase online, after doing some research however, it seems like they did away with these for whatever reason. The only way to buy a realm is through the subscription. More helpful information regarding Minecraft Realms can be found here.

    I remember that they used to have Prepaid Minecraft Realms gift cards that you could purchase online, after doing some research however, it seems like they did away with these for whatever reason.     Interestingly, that link states:

    "With a one-time purchase, you can create a one-month or a six-month Realm. These one-time purchases are non-refundable and will not renew automatically once they expire"

    So it sounds like you can do a pre-paid thing...but it doesn't say about how payment is done beyond that it is handled by the MS Store

    Sorry to say Maggie that I have never had a reply from Microsoft or the Community so I've still not found a way around this. It's very disappointing in this day and age I'm afraid to say. I hope you manage to find a way.
