Account and Profile options on conxole cannot be accessed

Hey there, I wanted to sign-in for a Xbox live game and this rquied me to sign-in with MS account. I tried, and the message is "This account is associated with another profile".

I find a way to reconnect, it says - go to your console Settings / Account or Profile. THese options are there, but I cannot access them I can access Storage, Network, all the other menus in Settings , but Account and Profile seem grey-out or somthing.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Been happening all day. I open the Games Hub on Windows 8 and I get no friends listed.

On Games Hub (WP8), my friends are shown, but no one's online (when I know that one or two are usually on quite often).

BTW, this is an unmodified image. The codes weren't there.

This billing related issue usually occurs for two reasons. One being some sort of billing related issue which you can
check here. Two, if you have a parental account attached to your gamertag you'd want to make sure to login with that parental account to make sure that it a.) has a gamertag generated
for it, b.) doesn't have any sort of billing issues, and c.) make sure that any sort of terms and conditions are agreed to on that account as well.

Not sure if any of the above apply to you but they might and you may want to go through the motions before
contacting phone support if none of the above is the case.

 

Hi there; were you trying to sign in or were you trying to create a profile? If the profile exists already, you'd have to download it to use it because you'll get the error you referenced if you try to create an account using an e-mail that is already attached
to a profile.
