    Account Aliasing


    My xbox account has been set up with my mothers email account for about 10 years

    I changed the primary alias and deleted her email from it

    However I did not realize this would mess with most if all of her accounts

    I was attempting to fix this over the phone but didn't realize everything moved to here

    but any time I would try to put it back in the alias tab it would say “This email is part of a reserved domain. Please enter a different email address.”

    I was curious if I could speak with someone from microsoft on this and try and fix this problem

    i had this when i removed an alias a while ago, they confirmed that once an alias is removed then it can never be used again or released either, this is due to privacy controls and laws stopping them re using them or re activating them.

    nothing you can do.
