Accidentally unfriended

earlier today while trying to favorite one of my friends I accidentally unfriended them. We do not have any mutual friends and have not sent any messages back and forth so that I can find them and add them back, and sadly I do not remember all of their gamertag
so searching for them by gamertag is out of the question. Is there anyway I can find them besides stumbling across them randomly? Please tell me there is because I don't want the upset because of an accidental unfriending. Thank you

Issue with permenatly removing someone

I’m having having issue with deleting friends. On both the Xbox app and the Xbox one itself. I’ve tried blocking them. But as soon as I turn off my Xbox and cut it back on it’s as if I never unfriended them. I still get the notification that their online
but when I look on their profile it says that I’ve unfriended them.

 

Hi! Unfortunately, there's really know way to find someone that you don't know their GT. Have you played games together? If so, some games have a recently played with list and you might find them there. No messages but, maybe you shared a screenshot with
them? look through your activity feed and maybe you'll find them.
