Accidentally requested a security info change & I can't receive a code to cancel it

So basically I accidentally requested a security info change & I can't cancel it as the phone number associated with the account can't receive texts. I can't access Xbox Support or anything because of this.

I cannot update the email used by my XBOX profile

I want to change the email associted with my XBOX account but instead was prompted for a code so I waited got one and entered it. Now when I try to acccess my account I get this. Th instructions listed here dont work

There is no section labelled Manage how you sign in to Microsoft. Instead there is a section that says Manage Your Sing In Email or Phone Number and that is where I was asked for the code.

security changes

i requested a change in my security info and now i wanna buy something and it says i can't do that until the end of 2016 when my request is completed . what should i do???

Last time I had to confirm security settings, I believe there was an option to receive a phone call instead of a text. If not, I think your best option here is to contact phone support to get your security settings fixed. If you're able to, you can do this

I am so sorry you are having issues stopping the security info change. Lets try and get you that code.

The best place to start is to check your internet connectivity and your connectivity to your Outlook. Do you receive emails on another device?

It's also good to check your Junk Email settings to check if you have blocked or removed safe senders and to check your filters at the bottom.

If that doesn't work, check your junk and storage. (Can be found in the Storage setting under general)

If none of this works, try changing your password.

Well I just did that and still nothing I'm on Gmail. Still I don't know what to do im on a call with Microsoft but im on hold.

My parents' Microsoft account, which is the one I am using right now, is used on my Xbox. When my Xbox was hacked, I changed my pin multiple times, and put in a security info change, which I am trying to cancel. I'm worried that if the security info change goes through, I might not be able to access this account, and therefore the Xbox. Today when I tried to cancel the security info change request, it asked me to put in the last four digits of my father's phone number, which is no problem. Then, it would text that number a code to enter, then it would cancel the request. The thing is, I have absolutely no idea where my father's phone is, and even if I did somehow manage to retrieve it, it has probably been completely wiped. I believe the security info was supposed to change to my grandfather's, who is still alive and well. I made the request 14 days ago, and I have 16 days left before it goes through. I'm pressed on whether to let it go through or to try and cancel it. What should I do?
