Accidentally redeemed XBL 12M Gold subscription to the wrong account.

Long story short,

Signed into one of my 2 accounts with Xbox, redeemed my Gold card while on my secondary account.

I'm kind of stumped. Any suggestions, considering callbacks are closed at this time of day?

Does Xbox Gold Membership time stack?

YES, Gold subscription stacks.

HOWEVER, if the subscription that you bought expires in a month or less, like for example a 12M Gold Subscription bought using a payment instrument ( CC or paypal ) then you bought and redeemed a 12M Prepaid Card before the renewal date of your original
subscription. Then the answer is NO, it will not stack

Example:

• Gold subscription bought using a CC does not stack with Gold subscription bought as PPC (prepaid card). If you redeemed your Gold (PPC) 1Month before the renewal date of your Gold (CC). The 1Month remaining time will automatically be cancelled by Microsoft's
system to prioritize the Gold (PPC).

• Gold subscription bought as PPC stacks with Gold subscription bought using CC. What happen is that the Gold (CC) will temporarily stop to prioritize the Gold (PPC) and will continue once Gold (PPC) runs out.

Accidental Code Redemption

Yesterday I was able to collect enough Microsoft points to redeem one month of xbox gold. Problem is, I accidentally redeemed one month of Xbox game pass. I redeemed it on my Xbox account and went to sleep. Today I woke up and realized my error once I looked
at my subscriptions. Is there any way to reverse the purchase or a way to cancel the subscription for Xbox gold?

you will have to contact support and talk to somebody in billing they can cancel the gold and give you a token to redeem on the other account that is all you can do.

Make sure that you are using the same Microsoft Account email as before.

You can go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ to check the status of your subscriptions.

If your subscription is under the cancelled category, then your Gold simply ran out.

If there is no mention of a Gold membership subscription, you accidentally used the wrong Microsoft Account email.
