    Accidentally purchased wrong version of the game


    Hello there fellow playas,
    I accidentally in my stupidity purchased the NHL 22 on xbox one whereas my console is xbox series S. Game has never been played, but code was already used hence my refund request was refused. In panic I even tried to download it lol.
    Now it is on my account and I dunno what to do with it now. I humbly hope that someone can help.

    When you buy a game via the console, the game will always be the Xbox One version, unless you buy a backward compatible game.

    If you have accidentally purchased the wrong version, you can always call support and get the money refunded for the correct version.

    Sorry to hear it. If you accidentally purchased the wrong version of the game then please give phone support a call. They can issue you a refund which you can then use to purchase the 360 version. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

    If they give you a credit to your account then don't use the website to purchase the game but, instead, use the console to ensure you get the proper version.

    Unfortunately I don't think so. I just searched madden on the store and bought the $60 one. Guessing it's just the standard edition.

    You get both versions with Madden edition

    But you need to goto the dual entitlement webpage to get next gen version
