Accidentally Purchased Wrong Game

Hello!

I was scrolling through discounted downloadable games, and found what I thought was GTA 5, but was really GTA 4 as I'm not good with Roman Numerals. Is there any way to get a refund? I didn't even allow the game to fully install. I'd like a refund so I can purchase the correct GTA.

Please let me know how to go about this.

Sadly, Once a purchase has been made, it cannot be reversed. An accidental purchase of the wrong DLC is an unfixable accident.

I am afraid if purchased for the wrong account it cannot be transferred to another. You may be able to get the charges refunded then purchase it on the second account. You would need to speak to a support agent regarding an accidental purchase refund

When you buy a game via the console, the game will always be the Xbox One version, unless you buy a backward compatible game.

If you have accidentally purchased the wrong version, you can always call support and get the money refunded for the correct version.
