    Accidentally Changed My Gamertag


    I have had the same gamertag for 2 years as i am a very loyal xbox customer. I finally decided that before the new year i would change my gamertag to something fresh and new. I was in the middle of changing my gamertag and stopped to go get my 3 year old
    son's food from the kitchen. To my dismay and surprise he grabbed my controller and literally went through the whole process and purchased the GT change. Now its only missing three letters but those three letters are very detrimental to my gamertag as i do
    take my gamertag and online gaming very serious. I went through the live chat and they sent me here. I really hope there is something that can be done because i do not want to keep the gamertag that my son has accidentally purchased. Please help!

    Hi, I accidentally changed my Xbox Live GT on the website. Basically, I accidentally double-clicked the "Check Availability" button, and that instantly changed it without any sort of fail safe. Is there anyway to revert my GT to what it previously was?

    You can change your gamertag again but you will have to pay,you won't get it changed for free.
