Accidentally bought the wrong version of Madden

Just a heads up, you cannot change or upgrade your game to a different version but what you can do instead is to request a refund on the version you just bought and then just buy the correct version afterwards.

Unfortunately I don't think so. I just searched madden on the store and bought the $60 one. Guessing it's just the standard edition.

You get both versions with Madden edition

But you need to goto the dual entitlement webpage to get next gen version

If it's the all Madden edition you.got.thr right version but you need to contact ea sports for the series x version

You can try replying to the email you received denying the refund to contact the refund specialists, but there are no guarantees they will still approve the refund.
