Accidentally bought the wrong format

Good day.

I was trying to play Minecraft and decide to buy the game. After searching the game for a while, I couldn't find it. but I did find Minecraft XBOX ONE and I remember that my pc (Windows 10) has an app called Xbox console companion and then I thought "since
Minecraft is available at Xbox and Windows 10 and there is an Xbox app on my pc, probably I could play it on the pc" and so I bought the game. The game included 1 CD, 2 code (starter pack and 700 minecoin) and after I put both codes on my account I thought
that's it, and what to do next is to install the game. but turns out that the code it's just a bonus content for buying the game, and the real game is the CD and turns out that the CD can only be read with Xbox console and I don't have that.

Now the question is: can I install the game to my pc without the Xbox console? Or, is it the end for me?

Good day! if you bought the xbox version you'll have to buy the pc one as they are 2 different versions and xbox discs don't work on pc.

same here...bought the movie SWAT,but both versions are french,even though one said english...since i work i can't wait all day on hold with customer suport...and just because i live in canada ,doesn't mean i speak french...anyway good luck on getting any
