Accidentally bought a second Xbox Gamepass Ultimate membership on the same account

So what happened? Well today the internet went out while I was using my Series X and when it came back I noticed that when I clicked on the Xbox Gamepass section on the My Games and Apps it was asking me to sign up for Xbox Gamepass Ultimate. Thinking that somehow my subscription was canceled I went and bought the XGU subscription. All was well until once again the internet went out while I was using my console and when it came back I once again noticed something interesting. On the main Xbox UI there was a box that said “relive gamepass ultimate” or something like that, which I saw before the first time. This got me curious so I went to My Games and Apps and when I went to check out XGU it was asking me to, once again, subscribe to Gamepass Ultimate. Not wanting to pay another $15 I decided to restart the console. In doing that my Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscription (the second one) was back again. So basically this week alone I payed for XGU twice, once on July 26th, which is the normal day, and once on July 27th which is today. I also checked to see if today’s and yesterday’s payment was made and it was. If anyone can direct me to someplace so that I can get a refund and get my $15 backs I would gladly appreciate it

You can do so upto 3 years so if you buy 3 years of live and upgrade after a month you can get 3 years of xgu

Are you referring to Gamepass Ultimate? If so, the membership is tied to the account and not the console/PC. You should be fine to be logged into multiple computers, you just can't be logged into them at the same time I believe.

If you bought the Gamepass for PC and don't have an Xbox then getting Ultimate Gamepass is pointless. It would upgrade your subscription from Gamepass for PC to Ultimate Gamepass

This is because when you change your gold subscription to gamepass ultimate, the service agreement indicates that once you subscribe to the service, you cannot go back to the previous one, that is, you can no longer have gold because you changed the service
to game pass ultimate. It also tells you that you can continue to redeem Gold memberships and they will be automatically converted to Gamepass Ultimate memberships using a conversion table.

The token indicates ... You get ... 1 month gold 20 days of Ultimate

3 months gold 50 days of Ultimate

6 months gold 79 days of Ultimate

12 months gold 4 months of Ultimate

24 months of gold 8 months of Ultimate.

You can redeem your code in another account and that does not have a gamepass and you can enjoy 12 months of gold with your account as long as it is in the same console and this one acts as the main console in the account that has the GOLD membership

there are three types of subscriptions for gamepass, one is for Xbox console, and the other is for Windows 10 on pc. The third is Xbox gamepass ultimate, that combine both subscriptions also gold membership.
