    accidental purchase Minecraft Bedrock for windows 10 instead for JAVA


    we purchased Minecraft Bedrock for windows 10 on Nov 6th. We realised it was the wrong version, we should buy it for JAVA. because it is within 14 days we would like to return it or change to java edition,
    how to do it. under the order we have no possibility to return it?

    Also again my order history will NOT say I purchased Minecraft because I did not. As stated before, I got minecraft bedrock because Mojang gave a free code to redeem Bedrock for all Mojang users that purchased Java Edition before a certain date see article below:

    Minecraft Xbox 360 edition

    Java Edition you won't be able to purchase from Xbox. You will need to purchase it from Minecraft .net

    If you mean the Bedrock Edition that is crossplay enabled between Windows 10, Xbox One, mobile and Nintendo Switch you will need to purchase the game for each platform.

    Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Xbox One is available on Gamepass.

    As previously noted. Microsoft owns Minecraft, however Minecraft Java is not a Microsoft or Xbox game. The PC equivalent is “Minecraft Windows 10 edition” the Java version is a separate game not part of Minecraft bedrock, their-for not cross play with other devices.

    Xbox owns W10 edition not Java edition

    you cant, windows 10 version is bedrock which is also on all platforms, the mojang website version that excepts mods is the java edition that is a completely seperate version of minecraft which has to be purchased through mojang.
