Accidental pre-order in the Xbox Store

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you seek to cancel a pre-order you no longer want.

To Cancel an order or pre-order from Microsoft Store

1. Go to your Order history and find the order or pre-order.
2. Select Cancel item next to the item you want to cancel.
3. Select the check box next to the item and then select the Cancel item button.
4. Check your inbox for an email confirming the order was canceled.

Go ahead and give this a shot and let us know if this works for you!

You won't get charged until it is released, so timewise you're good.

Just go to your Microsoft account page (order history) and you should be able to cancel it.

You should be able to go to http://account.microsoft.com and there should be a cancel option next to the transaction.
