    Accidental membership purchase


    Today I was checking if I could mess around offline on ''Elder Scrolls online'' and may have bought membership accidentally. I checked by booting up a membership only game and was able to play. I don't want this membership; how do I get rid of it?

    I accidentally purchased Need for Speed Rivals thinking that it was the most recent volume of the series. Is it possible that I can get the $25.00 refunded to my account so I can purchase the correct volume? I heard from a friend that you get one free
    refund or something along those lines. If there is anyway that you help me please let me know.

    Call the support line 1-800-4my-Xbox and talk to the billing support. All memberships purchased on the console or from the website are non-refundable. However, sometimes explaining your situation to the support professional may lead to positive results.
    It's my understanding that if you cancel a 3-month or 12-month membership within the first 30 days it can be refunded (partially or in full). The monthly memberships are non-refundable, but if you just made the accidental purchase today and call in soon, they
    may make an exception for you.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please log into commerce.microsoft.com with the gamertag that should have the membership to ensure that payment went through properly?

    If it does not show then perhaps you accidentally purchased it on another account.

    If it is showing that you purchased it then you should contact phone support for more assistance. 1-800-469-9269 in North America.
