Accidental License Transfer

Hello, I was wondering since in May when my son and I attempted to troubleshoot on the 360 he accidentally did some "license transfer." Now that we have an XBONE, I was wondering if I'm able to license transfer on the One? Also, if in which some sort of
case we get another 360 and download this account to it, will the license transfer cooldown follow? I'm just curious.

Accidental License Transfer

I believe Support will only do it in extreme cases. It wouldn't hurt to call support however, as they are the ones who can help you if they are allowed.

accidental license transfer

i was on the xbox accounts page when a guest player transferred y licenses and now i cant earn achievements how do i fix it ? please answer i need this info soon

License transfers are only something that can be done on the 360. It's not the same thing on the One. The Home setting on the One is similar, but license transferring on the 360 would not affect anything on the One.

You can perform a license transfer once very 4 months. So if something happens and you do have to get another 360, you will be able to perform another license transfer.

When you do a license transfer, you are asked if you want to download the content itself again, or just transfer the licenses. Did you accidentally set it to download the content itself this time?
