Accidental Deletion of World

Hello,

I am currently playing on the Xbox Series S console with the latest version of Minecraft, and I have meant to delete a copy of a world I had but accidentally deleted the real world. This wouldn't be so much of a bother to me but it was a world I was building for my mother who recently passed and it would mean a great deal to me to get it back.

So I was wondering is there any way I can restore the world either onto my Xbox or even on my pc where I have windows 10 edition of Minecraft on as well.

We are truly sorry to know about this and we offer our condolences. Normally there is a way to recover the lost worlds but that would be on the Pc version. As you may know, if you've been saving your progress correctly, it's saved to your Cloud so you could try logging out of the account and logging back again to see if the world would sync and appear as a way to troubleshoot this matter.

If that wasn't helpful, you can contact the developer of the game through Submit a request – Home (minecraft.net) and see if there is anything that can be done from their end since this is a special case.

I'm sorry to say, but once a world is deleted, there is no way to get it back.

I thank you thoroughly for your condolences they mean a lot to me they truly do, I have fortunately found a copy of the world from a while back that still has some progress but of course not all. I'd like to thank you for your support and help, I shall leave contacting the developer because of the copy I have found, but again many thanks.

I accidentally deleted a minecraft world on my switch, is there any way to get it back?

Sadly no, once a wold is deleted its gone. I wish there was a wag to get it back but as of right now there isn’t. I myself have accidentally deleted a few worlds.
