    I understand the reason why your standard Xbox controller and the Xbox accessories app won't let you remap the triggers. Because certain games will be deemed either too easy or unwinnable if the digital controllers were remapped with an analog control on the buttons or vice versa.

    But the problem is a lot of games treats the analog triggers like digital buttons and if they are digital buttons then they should in theory be remappable with other digital buttons and those new animal triggers would be just as digital as those old digital buttons.

    So maybe there should be a check mark for All Digital buttons mode where if it's checked off all the buttons are remappable at the cost of de-analogizing the controls. And unchecking box would go back to the standard mode.

    It also act as a software check so that if a game is deemed either too easy or too hard when the analog controls get digitized it would act as a flag to either remind players to change or not to run the game if that check mark is checked.

    This is not that high of a priority because of the fact that the Xbox adaptive controller can easily do that. It can read digital buttons on the analog inputs, and they are all inter-swappable.
