Accessing your own items from storefront on a new console/playthrough

I've recently repurchased Forza 4 and am playing on a different console. I uploaded lots of stuff to the storefront when I last had the game, and I can now view "my storefront" with the new console and I can see all my stuff there, but I don't seem to be
able to download any of it to use on this new playthrough.

Am I missing something, or is it impossible to get all my stuff back with a new console & playthrough?

NDA problem

That's unfortunate and is a result of accessing a console with the beta on it. If you want to purchase items you'll need to do so from your brother's console.

if you used the transfer cable and moved your profile properly then it would be on your new machine. if you started fresh on the new box then there is probably nothing you can do to get the stuff. I think the only way would have been to transfer the profile..

It wouldn't show on Steam as Steam is it's own service and storefront. You would need to access the game from the Xbox app to play on a computer.

I think it's a matter of trial and error in seeing what stuff from your original account is accessable by your new account. From what I can tell from my own experience you can only access games, map packs etc that have the license on the same console, you
won't be able to access any avatar items and in game items with the new account that is linked to the old account. Also, if you change consoles, you might need to redownload some of your games as when moved to another console, some games will show up as demos
or trials for other accounts. I have this problem in relation to using Game Room games with the other accounts that I have stored on my Xbox console.
