Accessing games installed through the Xbox app on multiple PC profiles?

Is there a way to access games that are installed on the Xbox app on one profile (i.e the MCC & Forza) on another profile on the same PC.

It seems to work automatically for the Epic Launcher with Fortnite but don't want to have to install multiple copies of Forza etc onto the hard drive.

Both profiles are linked to Microsoft accounts that have Gamepass Ultimate.

Hi finsty!

Please try to install an Xbox app from your mobile or PC. Check if your status changes to online when you access your account through the app. On the profile tab from the app, make sure to select "Appear online".

Same here... went through 3 preview builds, uninstalled and re-installed the app multiple times on my PC and it still does not load. The app opens, but I get no options to start new game...

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. To access any play anywhere title or the add ons on the PC. You need to go through the Xbox app then your game library. Here you will see the game and add ons to install to the PC.

sign into her user id on the pc, open the xbox app, sign her out and sign in with your account, initiate the download of forza, as it is already installed it will be quick, once done, sign out of the xbox app and back in with her profile and she can now play forza.

you can do this on multiple pc's too in the same household.
