Accessing apps while Xbox is having core issues

Can I access any of my apps while the core issue is going on? I wanted to watch a game and I cannot access ESPN+ app because I need to be signed in. I set up my living room to go through just the xbox one due to clutter, and now...I have to bring it back
because xbox keeps having this issue? Hopefully the next system will allow us to use all apps without having to log in. This is a big inconvenience. Time to bring back my firetv. My system may go away now. This was supposed to be a big seller for me and now
I am pissed that I paid 600 for a system I can't use unless I am logged in.

    :)

    Using Xbox One offline

To use your Xbox One without being prompted to connect to Xbox Live, set it to offline. While offline, your Xbox won't connect to any networks.

If you’re offline due to an outage of your home network, ISP, or Xbox Live, we recommend not setting your Xbox to offline. Although you’ll be offline either way, leaving your Xbox set to online lets it automatically reconnect to Xbox Live as soon as possible.

    Note

You must be online when you
set up Xbox One for the first time
. Without an internet connection, you can’t finish setup. After your Xbox has updated and you’ve added your profile, you can go offline.

When your Xbox is offline you can:

    • Watch TV (though you need to be online for OneGuide listings)
    • Sign in to your profile (if you've signed in online before)
    • Change console settings (except for profile and family settings; content controls remain in place while offline)
    • Play games (provided you've set this as your home Xbox or have a game disc)
    • Save game clips and screenshots
    • Earn achievements (however, there's limited offline space for game captures and achievements, so you should go online every so often to sync them)
Activities your Xbox must be online for include:

    • Playing games and apps that require the internet
    • Syncing game progress and playing saved games from a different Xbox
    • Using social features like friends, messages, and parties
    • Shopping for games, add-ons, movies, and so on
    • Updating games, apps, and your Xbox console

    Set your Xbox to offline

    1. Press the Xbox button
      to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings.
    3. Choose Network.
    4. Select Network settings > Go offline.
To go back online, repeat the first three steps, and in step 4 choose
    Go online
    .

If your Xbox is online but you can't sign in to Xbox Live, try the
Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution

Issues while accessing Settings and Xbox app on PC

    Hi Matt,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues while accessing Settings menu and Xbox app on your PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
    3. Do you face the same issue on any other app?

Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

Based on the screenshot you have shared, it seems that the support link that you are trying to access is incorrect, here is the correct link to contact

    Microsoft Support

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.

    Method 1:

Run the Store App troubleshooter to identify and fix problems.

    1. Press Windows + I key together to open
      Settings.
    2. Click on Update &
Security and then click on Troubleshoot.
    3. On the right hand pane scroll down and look for
      Windows Store Apps.

    4. Click on it and select Run
      the
      troubleshooter.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Method 2:

Try re-registering Settings and Xbox app and see if that helps.

    1. Press Windows + X keys together and click on
      Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    2. Now type in the following commands one by one and hit
      Enter:

      Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

      Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name windows.immersivecontrolpanel | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}
    3. Restart the PC.

    Method 3:

Try creating a new user account and see if you are able to access Settings and Xbox app. Refer the article

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10

Let us know how it goes.
